Traditionally considered the working-class heart of the city, East Vancouver has undergone a period of rapid change in recent years. This vibrant and ethnically diverse part of the city stretches from Main Street in the west, to Boundary Road in the east. It features some of the trendiest neighbourhoods in the city, including Main Street, Fraser Street and Commercial Drive, where the east side’s famed bohemian spirit lives on despite rapid redevelopment.

Residents of East Vancouver enjoy some of the best transportation links in the city, with Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain station acting as a major hub and the 99-B Line offering rapid access west to the University of British Columbia. With the mooted SkyTrain Broadway Extension set to launch in the coming years, demand to live in this trendy part of town is only going to grow.
